We only have a select number of lodges to retain the privacy, peace and solitude of The Secret Hideaway.
Each one has been purpose built using natural materials, and their award-winning design allows for integrated mod cons and comfort amongst nature.
Every lodge comes with a super king size bed complete with luxury Egyptian cotton bedding, bath robes and en-suite wet room with toilet, shower and luxury toiletries.

There are no cooking facilities in the lodges. There is a small fridge for essentials and we will leave a list of local cafes and restaurants in the welcome pack.
the cuckoo’s nest
Sitting beside the canopy of one of the many trees in the estate grounds, the cuckoo’s nest enjoys the dappled shade on its private veranda. It has the feel of both a forest and lakeside retreat with a comforting, nest-like feel - we love its calming effect.

The pod with the most direct position on the lake, the badger sett comes with uninterrupted views of the wildlife and birdlife that come here - ideal for nature enthusiasts. We’d recommend bringing your binoculars to follow the comings and goings as the sun rises and sets.
